First Pop-Up in Brooklyn, 2018
Eleva Coffee is not only a wonderful roaster, but a remarkable company fostering all facets of community building and support. It was my great honor to paint their first physical storefront location at 178 N 8th St. in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 2018. While only 150 square feet, this spot had so much heart and soul poured into it, and it was a pleasure to spend every, sweaty second there. I would do it over, and over, and over again.
As the daughter of a home-building craftsman, it helped me realize that I wouldn’t mind dedicating all of my time to rewarding, physical labor. I mean, who doesn’t enjoy witnessing the fruits of one’s labor expand into the real world?
They now have many locations, even though pop-up has closed.
